With Ohgami's departure to Paris, Hanagumi finds itself leaderless, paving the way for a new character introduction. Stepping into Lieutenant Ohgami's shoes is Rachette Artile, the former leader of Hoshigumi, known for her logical and unique personality, which causes considerable issues within Hanagumi. The members start experiencing conflicts with Rachette. At the same time, Teikoku Kagekidan faces threats from unrelated demons, and a new model of anti-kouma mechas emerges, introduced by an American company, attempting to usurp the koubu-kai.
